Held Brand uses NIP-05 on every Held profile for validation. Held Brand provides education to users and brands as a foundation of service. And, Held Brand makes interaction with brands and celebrities more authentic by delivering trust on an early, still spoofable nostr.
Nostr is a decentralized, censorship-resistant social protocol that helps brands stay ahead in the digital landscape, build direct audience relationships, and maintain content and identity control without platform dependency. There is a learning curve with Nostr, because the responsibility and tech awareness comes with a great freedom and independence from centralized constrains for users and brands.
It's a simple three-step process: First, we verify your identity or brand ownership. Second, you receive a white glove introduction and delivery of your profile. Third, you can use the profile with existing followers already in place, or use that one to refer those followers to another profile of their choosing.
NIP-05 verification links your Nostr profile to your domain, making it easy for users to verify your identity and official ownership. All Held Brand profiles use the @heldbrand.com NIP-05 verification to ensure authenticity and prevent impersonation of our project, and from that validation we deliver you're validated authenticity to nostr users.
We offer a white glove transition and perform a secure transfer of profile control to the brand with seamless transition for followers. The NIP-05 verification remains or updates as needed, and the brand gains full ownership with no retained interest or access by Held Brand.

Absolutely. Once you claim your profile, it's yours to manage completely. You have full control over content, settings, and branding while maintaining the follower base that was built during the placeholder period. And you won't need Held Brand for ongoing validation that your profile is legitimate because we'll show you how to leverage and align with the methods that nostr users validate profiles for themselves.
